Good Friday

The past few days, I have been busy as a cat on a hot tin roof. There were back to back events occurring last week which im practically involved in. I was in my light sleeper mode, wakes up at 4.30am just to reach work in time at 7am. I was in my low spirit when I was awakened by Ms Amoi frustration voice this morning. It was a public holiday, a great time to recover my beauty sleep. The last thing I need was having someone to wake me up as early as 8.30am. We had a family gathering over at Bedok, put my so call diet aside and gorge on all the good food. Im feeling slackened at the moment, Have a Great Weekend.

A photographer in Indonesia, Ilham Anas, he has been thrown into almost instant fame, mainly because of his face.

Anas who is 34, and from some angles bears a striking resemblance to the new US President, shot to fame in Jakarta after Obama, 47, won the election in November

Ilham is now also earning income as an Obama double.

Ilham says that the whole thing started as a practical joke with his friends, who, when Obama won, made him wear a suit, a tie and took pictures of me posing as Obama.

With his toothy smile, oversized ears and cropped black hair, Indonesian Ilham Anas, was a striking look-alike of US President, Barrack Obama.

Faulty Iphone

Dad Mood sends me to run chores for him today. For the second time within 2 months i had the iphone replaced. It seems that it is the only solution that they can counter offer. The wifi was not able to connect to the internet. Dad Mood is getting irritated by day cos what an iphone without getting to download those cool stuff. It’s not only us who are facing with the faulty hardware but I guess most iphone consumers had to bear with the stupid hangover.

Anorexia perhaps

These women are skinny shit. Look at those, barely fats hanging around their waist, thighs and etc. You could easily count their rib bones. They look so fragile and ready to be blown away at the runaway. Do you think they are happy? No offence but they look really sick for heaven sake.

Anorexia may describe as eating disorder characterized by extremely low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Individuals with anorexia are known to control body weight commonly through the means of voluntary starvation, purging, excessive exercise or other weight control measures such as diet pills or diuretic drugs.

Their situation is hardly typical, but they do the best they can to make sure their kids have a normal, happy childhood. I can’t stop watching them as all of them are adorable. Smart Simplicity

The Nokia E71 mobile phone offers efficiency and increased functionality, including two screen modes allowing you to choose between work and leisure modes. What I love about this phone is that it has the blackberry (professional) look and it is much slimmer than Blackberry. The keyboard function comes in handy as well as accessing emails on the go makes life so easy. Other than that, the dual modes are so redundant. Nokia lovers would love this phone. From my previous experience using HTC and O2 i think this phone is much reliable. No hassle of having the phone to reboot and etc.

Kallang Ice World

I was feeling kinda of lethargic in the morning and was on leave yesterday. Did some house chores before Ms Amoy dragged me to her kitchen. Did “Bubur Lambok” for the family and Mr. Mood showed me how to cut the whole chicken into parts. They were quite thoughtful. They felt that that the skill of chopping and peeling those fats from the chicken would come in handy for me in no time.

I was planning something for the two ladies in the afternoon since it’s the school holidays. Thought ice-skating would sound fun to them. Fetch Ms Pynk and Ms Waffles and head to Kallang. Shared with them some tips to ice-skate. Seeing them having fun makes my day. I want them to experience something new before they felt it’s too old for them. hehe Im quite impressed as they pick up skating so quickly minus the twirling or wiggling. Cool!

I personally feel that the rink is too small for the crowd but the place is much better than Fuji Ice Palace.

The Kite Runner

“For you, a thousand times over” Its #1 New York Times Bestseller –The Kite Runner. The movie is already out in 2008 and here I am just finished reading it. My procrastination is unforgiving. No doubt the novel is ridiculously mesmerising. For now I would like to get hold of the DVDs or watching it pirated from the online movies. The twist was simply unpredictable and the author is simply an amazing person. For more information on the author, click here.

Confession

The show will be screening on 26 March 2009. I have asked the ladies out for a movie date on 4th April. I have surprised Ms. pynk with the book and I hope she’s spending her holiday break to do some reading. I just received a call from HQ, informing me that I will be having another personnel to understudy me for a month. I guess I will be more generous this time by saving some of my work for her lah. I think its time for me to apply the intermittent breaking and enjoy my last month working with Mr. Now. Give yourself a break lah GIRL!
